King’s Fall - The Warpriest

Subclass Requirements

Titan:

  • 2x Defenders, 1x Illuminated Weapons of Light and 1x Blessing of Light.
Warlock:
  • Either Sunsinger or Stormcaller, doesn't matter.
Hunter:
  • Preferably Nightstalker to Shadowshot the Warpriest.
Mechanics

1.  When the three Major Knights are killed, their corresponding plates are activated.

2.  The glyph sequence is random and changes after every wipe.

3.  The next plate in the sequence will be highlighted behind the corresponding tombstone with a white glow or with a red pillar of light if the tombstone is missing.

4.  Brand of the Initiate - This is a 10 second buff that grants you and your allies in close proximity the ability to damage the boss.  If you do not kill an add before the buff’s timer reaches zero, you die.  Each time you kill an add, one of the four 10 second stacks is removed so you only want to kill one at a time when your current timer is about to expire.  Keep in mind that you need to kill an add with your last stack of the buff when it is about to expire or you will die.

5.  The Oculus - To survive this you need to be in the shadow of one of the suspended tombstones.  Any tombstones being used will be removed after this phase.  It is critical that the raid gathers behind only one tombstone at a time.

Clan Strategy

The raid leaders will split the raid into three two-man groups and assign plate duty to one member of each team.  To start the encounter, simply step on all three plates at the same time.

Original

Adds will spawn continuously and everything needs to be killed.  Try not to kill the Adept Acolytes before the normal Acolytes if they are close to each other.  Doing so will empower the Acolytes with laser beam eyes and they hurt.

Original

After all of the adds are dead, three Major Knights will spawn.

Original

Once the three Major Knights are dead, the glyph sequence will begin.
The raid leaders will be calling out the next plate in the sequence.  (The next plate in the sequence will be highlighted behind the corresponding tombstone with a glow or with a red pillar of light if the tombstone is missing.)  Once you activate a plate, you cannot get off of it until the sequence is complete or the sequence will fail and we will have to start over.  Once you finish the sequence, the person stepping on the third plate will receive the buff “Brand of the Initiate,” that will allow you, and any allies standing within the ability to damage the boss.

The person providing this buff needs to kill a mob near them at around 1-2 seconds left consuming a stack and reseting the countdown timer to 10 seconds.  You want to give your group as much time with the buff as possible so only kill a mob when your timer is close to expiring.  This person also needs to give a countdown of their final stack of the buff so the raid can prepare to move behind one of the tombstones.

Defender Titans, take note of the approximate location where your bubble placement should be.  All Titans should be dropping their bubbles each DPS phase.  Place your bubbles directly on top of one another.
As soon as “Brand of the Initiate” expires, the boss summons the Oculus.  Your entire fireteam needs to hide in the shadow of one of the suspended tombstones.  The tombstone order we use is center, left and then right (if we get that far.)

Original

This should take two rotations to get the boss down.  If it is a sloppy run, we may end up having to use the third tombstone.  Hopefully the Warpriest is feeling charitable and rewards you with something more than a Moldering Shard.
