I just filled out application '10 PM Bedtime'. Here is my submission for your consideration:

PSN Username = snouxe
Age = 20-25
Gender = Male
When did you start playing Destiny? = Alpha/Beta/Day 1'er
How often do you play Destiny? = 5-6 Days/Week
How many characters do you have over 310 Light Level? = 3
After reading our recruitment post, what activity do you think 10 PM Bedtime primarily focuses on? = Raiding & PvE
Which class is your favorite in a raid setting and why? = My favorite overall class for a raid setting has come to be the Hunter because of the utility of the Nightstalker as a support class. Defender Titan is a close second for group play but the ability to setup a load out with the Nightstalker to support in almost any given situation whether it's creating vast amounts of orbs or saving a teammates life by granting them brief invisibility, has led it to become a staple in my playing.
Is there anything about the class(s) you play that you don't enjoy? = I enjoy all of the classes. Not equally, but that doesn't mean my personal favorite may be my pick for a given situation. The maneuverability of both Hunters and Titans (given their skating) keep me on them, but I've always had a soft spot for Warlocks. My least favorite class if i had to pick one in the game would be the Voidwalker (for PVE). While it has some great synergy within its perk tree and even better when paired with some choice exotics, I can't output the DPS with it that I can with almost any other given class and Sunsinger leaves it behind.
What do you consider your strengths and weaknesses while playing your class(s)? = My strengths on all classes center around support and DPS. Sitting back with a sniper and staying alive for a res are pivotal to me. Almost anytime I play in a group I play from far back with Scouts and Snipers, but solo I play more aggressively with Hand Cannons and Fusion Rifles / Snipers. My weaknesses while on Titan would be too aggressive of a playstyle on Sunbreaker and Striker, which generally leads to me playing on Defender as I play safer and more tactically on Defender. Gunslinger is a very close second as an overall favorite class in the game, but is held back by not being able to utilize Shadestep. (Given that Twilight Garrison grants any Titan subclass an evade, Graviton Forfeit likewise should have granted Shadestep to all Hunter subclasses. Hunters are supposed to be the most maneuverable class in the game after all.) My weakness on Warlock is a lack of maneuverability overall, but running Sunsinger allows tanking well enough to make up for the lack of agility.
What attracted you to our particular clan? Where did you hear about us? = I read about this clan on a Reddit post while searching through the DestinyTheGame forum. The interest in this particular clan is the can do attitude presented in the introduction to the clan and in the summary of its expectations and ideals.
Have you been in any other Destiny clans? = I've been a part of several other Destiny clans, 2 of which were more relevant than any others. My first clan was the GLOOMWALKERS 501st. This clan was primarily based around PVP aspects of the game though and I eventually left due to the lack of attention towards PVE. The Gun Show is the clan I spent most of my time with on Destiny until many members started becoming inactive including most of the admins and founders. The Gun Show was based heavily around weekly raids with schedules and times set up to complete certain activities.
Have you ever been removed from a clan for misconduct? = I have been removed from a clan one time. That clan was The Gun Show. (Which later brought me back in). The situation being that I brought a younger friend of mine into the clan who started making inappropriate jokes and comments to other clan members (of a racial sort) that led to him being kicked from the clan for disrespect to other players. I was removed as well, and told that in order to fully cleanse the clan of the member who was causing problems internally, it was felt that I needed to be taken out of the loop as well so that there wasn't a connection to him anymore. I later got an invitation from the admins to rejoin the clan, but lately most of them have become inactive.
What do you expect to gain from being in our clan? = I expect to see a solid group of players for PVE content that get things done efficiently, and effectively, and to better my playstyles based on those of the players around me. Raising has always been a primary focus for my time in Destiny but falling back on LFG and PUGs inhibits the efficiency I'd like to see in a raid group.
Do you utilize any outside resources related to Destiny? = I use several Destiny apps including the Bungie app, various applications to preset load outs on characters for mass transfer of items, and messaging apps dedicated to communication within clans that I'm a part of.
Are you missing any key exotic weapons or armor pieces that are useful in the current raid? = I've got every exotic available in game currently besides The First Curse. I have the Imprecation but have not taken the time to complete the PVP requirements for this weapon.
Do you min-max your character's stats? Which stats and gear perks do you focus on? = I max INT/DIS across the board on all classes, with the exception being on Nightstalker where I max INT, and then distribute evenly between DIS/STR for the use of the grenade / smoke combination. I focus on sniper ammo perks on all armor pieces, as well as sniper rifle loader perks (if I can get ahold of them). I try to set this up across the board except for the Oryx fight, where I use Fusion Rifle ammo on boots in order to carry more for Sleeper Stimulant. I have Touch of Malice but I feel as though it's very limited in use as it generally inhibits neutral game.
Have you raided in any other games? Please list your raiding history in Destiny. = Destiny is the first game I've raided in, but it has been a priority and a staple in my gaming experience since VoG became available.
How do you deal with high pressure or stressful situations? = I deal with pressure and stress usually with light joking. As long as a full fireteam is effectively executing what's expected of them though I find it rare to be in a stressful circumstance.
How do you react to constructive feedback, be it negative or otherwise? = If the player is honestly telling me something that may better my playstyle, I listen to what they have to say, and may change accordingly depending on whether or not I consider it within my ability to do so. If a player is demanding and asks only for you to do exactly as they tell you to, they single handedly raise the stress level of a game, and talk down to other players which is not acceptable.
How are you with taking directions from someone in a leadership role? = Directions are not an issue, suggestion is not an issue, but there are limitations to everything. I've been in a PUG before for the HM Oryx fight in which one member of the group was trying to control every aspect of the encounter including my SHADER, of all things, because he thought we may play better if we were more uniform. He continually yelled at players for not making the exact movement he wanted them to make whether it made things better for the group or not. Example being that he raged at a player who popped a bubble in order to save another players life because "we could have used it later". Yes, we could have, but all members of the fireteam were kept alive due to it being used when it was, and we didn't need to the bubble for DPS purposes anyway, and already had counter measures in place for the Shade encounter. This type of demand was unruly and unhelpful to the rest of the group.
How do you react when you realize you're putting in more effort than the next guy in your fireteam? = As long as the job is completed, I don't focus a lot on individuals. If I see a board in a wipe where I single handedly had 2,000,000 higher DPS on a boss than the other members put together, maybe other members were dealing with other threats that kept me able to maintain constant DPS. It's also fair to say that DPS isn't even the most important role in the game. Many times I won't have he highest, but I'll have put time into helping players around me if it looks like they're in trouble. I don't know if another member is doing this, and thinking that they aren't putting up the same effort because I don't see as high of DPS numbers for this is a negative thought process because they very well may have instead been focusing on keeping other members alive. Questioning without due reason is a negative thought process.
What irritates you about other people and how do you usually deal with them? = I generally only get irritated by players in PVP. I frown upon cheap, lazy playstyles that give easy kills with no skill involved in gunplay, and generally will block a player who is playing as such in order to not have to deal with them again, before leaving the match and finding a new lobby. I'm in the top 1% of players for Skirmish but many times, the players I match against won't be skilled in a gunfight, but instead extremely skilled in sitting in a corner with a shotgun. These are players I usually simply block, and move on from.
What do you do for a living? Will there be any conflicts with our raiding schedule of Tue/Wed 7-11? = Currently I'm working two jobs, one of which will not allow for Tuesday availability, but Wednesday's are free of work each week.
