I just filled out application '10 PM Bedtime'. Here is my submission for your consideration:

PSN Username = robmendez25
Age = 31-35
Gender = Male
When did you start playing Destiny? = January 2015
How often do you play Destiny? = 3-4 Days/Week
How many characters do you have over 310 Light Level? = 3
After reading our recruitment post, what activity do you think 10 PM Bedtime primarily focuses on? = Raiding & PvE
Which class is your favorite in a raid setting and why? = I like all classes because of the different abilities and different ways they can help. I would have to say my personal favorite is the Warlock. It was my first character and I've learned how to max his abilities. Radiance is always a good "bail-out" card and I love how Stormcaller can help in sticky situations.
Is there anything about the class(s) you play that you don't enjoy? = I wish every subclass had a better purpose in the raids. Voidwalker, Striker and Blade Dancer are pretty much non-existing in year 2 (on PvE). I wish the raids had parts where specific subclases were needed to succeed.
What do you consider your strengths and weaknesses while playing your class(s)? = Warlock: Strengths: Pretty good all-around. I have done basically every role in every raid (years 1 & 2) and gotten good at it. Weaknesses: I have not found many 310+ helmets to infuse on my warlock. Currently 300 max. Titan: Strengths: Bubble! Tell me where you want it and you will get it. My Intellect is maxed out and I have many armor perks that grant me additional super energy. Weaknesses: The double jump sometimes gives me trouble controlling it. I am always so used to the Warlock glide that it gets out of control. Hammer of Sol gives me some controlling issues too. Hunter: Strengths: Nightstalker subclass. Pretty good all-around with it. Weaknesses: Not much experience with other 2 subclasses. Although maxed out, I rarely ever use the supers.
What attracted you to our particular clan? Where did you hear about us? = I am tired of looking in the forums for random people to play with and then have everyone rage-quit after a few tries because the group doesnt have good chemistry. I am a father of 1 (soon to be 2) and do not have all the time in the world to game like these kids do. I have a couple of friends (I will refer them to this site) whom I try to raid with but the rest is always subs. I want a group of experienced people who would have set days and times to do 1 thing and that's get these raids done. I read about the clan online on and got me interested in joining.
Have you been in any other Destiny clans? = I have not.
Have you ever been removed from a clan for misconduct? = N/A
What do you expect to gain from being in our clan? = Be in a community with good people. And, more importantly, get the raids done on a weekly basis. I'm tired of spending countless hours with subs only to get to Oryx checkpoint and then never be able to finish it because people don't know what they are doing. I have completed it a few times, know most of the strategies used in the game and can play almost every role in any raid so, I know what I am doing.
Do you utilize any outside resources related to Destiny? = - "Destiny" App - "Where is Xur" App - "Infuse for Destiny" App
Are you missing any key exotic weapons or armor pieces that are useful in the current raid? = I have everything to make it work. The only Exotic I don't have is the Sleeper Simulant (I know some people use it for Ogres and Oryx) but I don't feel like it is a must have for the raid. I also don't have Exotic Swords yet so it makes it a bit difficult to kill the Vessel in the raid if I am to be the Relic Runner. I have raid gear, except Warlock Helmet, but I want to get some of them with the "Carry more ammo for special/heavy weapons" or "Carry more ammo for sniper/machine gun" perks so i can replace my current ones.
Do you min-max your character's stats? Which stats and gear perks do you focus on? = I do depending on the situation. I know when to max up my Agility stats and when it is more useful to max up my Armor and Recovery stats as well. I usually focus more on Intellect. Supers are a huge part of the raids therefor their cool down times need to be low. All my characters have the ability to max out on Intellect and Discipline. I use mainly Scout Riffles, Snipers and Machine Guns for the raid so I focus on gear that help those weapons i.e "Carry more ammo for..." perks and/or "Faster reload for..." perks.
Have you raided in any other games? Please list your raiding history in Destiny. = Crota's End: - Can run it blindfolded (joking) - Most of my runs happened with just 1 or 2 other players because of lack of finding people to play with. - Can solo it up to Crota (Still cant kill him by myself). - Can run sword 100% effective with any character. Vault of Glass: - Comfortable with any position and strategy on Oracles. - Can run relics. King's Fall: - Plenty of experience with any position and role through the entire raid. Can do call outs and can grab aura at War Priest (as well as Challenge Mode). Can do gaze or be "add-duty" at Golgoroth (Challenge Mode too). Confident runner when being torn at Sisters. Can do any platform and ogre duties at Oryx. Can run every strategy for Oryx (No knights, kill knights, single bombs, 8 bombs, 16 bombs (Challenge Mode). can run Relic but as stated before I don't have Exotic Sword for fast Vessel kill. I have complete set gear and weapons for every raid in the game except the Warlock helmet for Oryx Hard Mode.
How do you deal with high pressure or stressful situations? = I try to stay calm and figure out how I can make it work until help arrives or revive countdowns run down. You might hear a lot of "Oh shit, oh shit, oh shit, oh shits" from me but that is how i am able to calm myself down a little (weird, I know).
How do you react to constructive feedback, be it negative or otherwise? = I am pretty good with constructive feedback. Just recently i was pointed out from another player that while torn at sisters I was moving a lot when going up to "slam" so he told me that after you get the relic and go up to the witch and "slam" her, to turn and face the way you are going after and stay still while the explosion is going off. That way if she pushes you away, it will be in the direction you are heading. That was brilliant. I told the guy he made my life so much easier. If it is something that will help me get better at the game, I am all ears. Im not a big mouth or a trash talker so I dont think my attitude will be an issue. I know what set of gear and weapons to use in almost every situation in the game. I am open to any suggestions about it and I will try it. However, if i feel like it does not make any difference, I will continue with my own set ups.
How are you with taking directions from someone in a leadership role? = I'm a good soldier. I actually very much prefer a well seasoned veteran doing a "play by play" call out when doing the raid. That way it keeps everyone in line just in case players get caught up and forget about an upcoming step. I am aware of every step in the game and I miss them sometimes too, i.e The snipers at Sisters, so it is good to have that extra voice to remind you.
How do you react when you realize you're putting in more effort than the next guy in your fireteam? = That's the whole reason i want to join the clan. Everyone knows what to do and are dedicated to this on a weekly basis. It is a little frustrating to have these "lazy" kind of players that don't put in the effort and 9 times out of 10 they are the ones that get killed over stupid errors and then blame it on other players.
What irritates you about other people and how do you usually deal with them? = Taking the raids as a joke. I have a family. A wife, 1 kid and another on the way. I got s*** to do and I love the game but i am not spending 5-6 hours doing a raid to not even be able to finish it. Trash talkers and annoying cocky players (especially between 11-17 year olds). I turn on the game to get stuff done. When in Orbit or the Tower we can talk and joke about anything but during raids, game faces on! It's all i ask. I know during the raid sometimes funny stuff happens and we have to take a minute to have fun with it and i am completely OK with that.
What do you do for a living? Will there be any conflicts with our raiding schedule of Tue/Wed 7-11? = i am a site Supervisor for the Convention Center at Walt Disney World's Contemporary Resort. Every night at 10:30 I will need 25-30 minutes to do night time/bed time routine with my 1 year old son. And from February 8th to the 22nd (2016) I will be out on leave for the birth of my second son so gaming will be very minimal. But, with the clan's description of getting stuff done quickly and weekly, I see no problem in doing 3 Nightfalls and 3 Raids from 7pm to 10pm on 2 straight days. Plus it keeps my wife happy knowing I won't be playing for 5-6 hours 5 days a week and not finish the damm raid.
