I just filled out application '10 PM Bedtime'. Here is my submission for your consideration:

PSN Username = Lycorian2411
Age = 20-25
Gender = Male
When did you start playing Destiny? = Alpha/Beta/Day 1'er
How often do you play Destiny? = Everyday
How many characters do you have over 310 Light Level? = 3
After reading our recruitment post, what activity do you think 10 PM Bedtime primarily focuses on? = Raiding & PvE
Which class is your favorite in a raid setting and why? = Warlock, simply because they have a lot of potential to generate multiple orbs successfully while compared to any other class. Voidwalker, for clearing multiple groups of enemies in a flash. Stormcaller, for consistency in generating orbs and ad control and Sunsinger, If you have a very important role and your death could simply mean a wipe. Since, providing supers to Hunters and titans is essential, I tend to consider my Warlock as my favourtie class.
Is there anything about the class(s) you play that you don't enjoy? = The warlock's glide can be a issue at times as it lacks both speed and height. But other than that I am pretty comfortable with my Warlock and can use all the subclasses to perfection.
What do you consider your strengths and weaknesses while playing your class(s)? = Strengths: Ad control would be one of my strong suits. I prefer taking hard and important roles in a raid and execute them flawlessly, whether it is running the relic in Vault Of Glass, Swordbearer in Crota's end or the relic in King's Fall as well. Proper learning takes place through experience. Hence, I keep practicing to perfect and sharpen my skills. I adapt to new strategies on the fly. I do not rage quit and stay for hours till we complete our goal. Weaknesses: I think I need to practice my Glide,Lift and double jump a little bit better. ( Oh, how terrible I am) Still, can complete jumping puzzles with ease as i have enough experience.
What attracted you to our particular clan? Where did you hear about us? = I was immediately sold when I read about your post on reddit. I was looking for a solid PvE/PvP clan which excelled in both but still, a little bit better in PvE. A clan, which consisted of a few elite members and was well organised. Members, who have attained a lot of experience. Not only in this game, but in other MMORPG's as well. I saw all these qualities in your clan and instantly realised that this was the clan I was looking for. Since, I'm more of a PvE guy, so I like to go for world first boss kills,records, rushing though content and levels and the release of an expansion or huge update.
Have you been in any other Destiny clans? = I have been in a few clans here and there. But never really found a solid clan. Quantity and Quality were always important for me but i prefer Quality slightly more and never really found them in any clan. Either the members were not active or often rage quitted after about 5 tries.
Have you ever been removed from a clan for misconduct? = No, I have never been removed from a clan for misconduct.
What do you expect to gain from being in our clan? = I expect to accomplish more. More knowledge and experience. Rather than gaining from the clan, I much rather would like to do more for the clan and raise it to even higher levels. I expect to give more rather than just gaining for my own good. I will do my level best to do as much as I can for the clan.
Do you utilize any outside resources related to Destiny? = I use Twitter, Twitch, Facebook, Reddit, Youtube, The Bungie companion app. All these sources and resources help me to understand the game better. The accomplishments of other guardians, the future of the game and also, the back story of the game. For example : Grimoire.
Are you missing any key exotic weapons or armor pieces that are useful in the current raid? = No, I have all key exotic weapons and armour pieces that are useful in the current raid. In fact, I have almost each and every exotic piece of weapon and armour in the game which shows my long time commitment to the game.
Do you min-max your character's stats? Which stats and gear perks do you focus on? = Yes i do a lot of min-maxing my character's stats. I also do a lot of weapon and armour switching during PvE/PvP. I focus more on Intellect and Discipline but at times, when my super isn't that neccessary, i focus on Discipline and strength. This is extremely beneficial in sometimes and Melees can be important in certain scenarios. For example, Flame shield, Thunderstrike (For range). Blink Strike ( Escape artist or Backstab), Smoke bomb ( Envenomed or Vanish in smoke), Melting Point. Strength is pretty undervalued sometimes. I usually run gear which enhances group play rather than solo play.
Have you raided in any other games? Please list your raiding history in Destiny. = I haven't raided in any other games. However, I sometimes watch raids in Diablo, WoW, Elder Scrolls, etc. I have been raiding in Destiny since Vault Of Glass Upto King's Fall. I have mastered Vault Of Glass, Crota's End and King's Fall. And can run them.
How do you deal with high pressure or stressful situations? = I try to remain calm. Anxiety or high pressure will eventually lead to more mistakes and hence, it is wise to remain clam and analyse the situation. I try to analyse the situation and think of ways it which the situation could be improved. Whether it is getting a teammate out of trouble, Ad control, Adapting to the fight when a teammate is down, Blind attempt on a raid, providing supers by generating orbs.
How do you react to constructive feedback, be it negative or otherwise? = I react to constructive feedback by taking the feedback positively and not negatively. Nobody is perfect and hence, we all learn through our mistakes. Constructive feedback doesn't mean that the Leader is criticising us but instead he just wants us to do better.
How are you with taking directions from someone in a leadership role? = I have absolutely no problem with that. Listening and following those directions is very crucial to me. It is like and order which cannot be broken .These directions from a particular person keeps the group well organised and things get done quicker. A leader is essential for almost any group and so following and obeying his orders and dirctions is important to each and every member of the fireteam.
How do you react when you realize you're putting in more effort than the next guy in your fireteam? = If he has the potential, experience and knowledge, I would be disappointed to realize that and would try to speak to him and tell him to give in more effort. Shouting at him or being rude towards him would be a huge "No-No" for me, But i would instead try to make him understand in a polite and agreeable way.Each and everyone has to give the same amount of dedication, commitment and effort in order to get things done perfectly and in order. In case, he doesn't have the potential, experience or knowledge, I wouldn't mind but still would talk to him and encourage him to do better. If he has no experience or knowledge about the activity, I would teach him.
What irritates you about other people and how do you usually deal with them? = I just can't stand people who are rude, mean, arrogant, rage- quitter, always complaining or bossy. These traits can make or break you. You might be a good player, very experienced but if you have these traits, it is no use as character comes first in life. I deal with them by explaining them, how they hurt other's feelings and try to turn them into good. Itry to talk to them about this and just ignore him if he persistently does so and hurts others. Being humble in nature is very important.
What do you do for a living? Will there be any conflicts with our raiding schedule of Tue/Wed 7-11? = I am a school going boy. Regarding my age, I have spoken to Aozotorp and you may talk to him regarding me. I may have some conflicts but I'd like to go more into that later.

Hello Kwertian and thank you for taking the time to complete an application.

After reading over your application I still have some concerns.

1. Do you have any timing conflicts with our raiding Schedule? Keep in mind we are EST so do not forget to factor that into your calculations.

2. I took a look at your total raid completions (for reference http://www.destinycheckli ... /tabs/2/Lycorian2411 ) I have to say that from what I can see your completion totals for KF are extremely low given the fact that the raid has been availabel for quite some time.

3. Leadership can be very abrasive when facing players who are not pulling their weight. Do you think you would be able to handle that type of coaching in the moment?

I'm pretty sure that it counts a completion only on the Oryx kill and not the whole raid. I have done the raid a LOT, and i mean A LOT of times. The only thing is, I have made it UPTO Oryx tons and tons of times (Wish they would count that) but people just quit on Oryx. That's basically it. No, seriously, That's the problem, so you see it doesn't count the completion. I know the raid VERY WELL. In and out and I can assure you that I can definitely pull my own weight. Another factor contributing to the low completions is that I had taken a break of about 1.5 months from Destiny. I just never found a clan in which I could show my capability. You guys could even do a raid with me and you'll see. I'm very experienced with the raid. Regarding your raiding schedule, It's about 3 a.m. here during the time you guys raid on tuesday. I may be able to make some arrangements for that. But, could any arrangements be done on your side?

Unfortunately our schedule is set in stone. While we can accommodate for those who may be late on specific days due to work conflicts there is no room to change any of our dates or times.

In some very rare instances, we may overlook someone's age if they present themselves in a manner that we expect from everyone in the clan. For you, we wouldn't know unless we interviewed you so that is a nil point. While your internet connection may seem fine on your end, I can assure you that after it travels half way around the world, it would absolutely have an effect on the performance of any team you grouped with in our clan while playing Destiny. At the very least, you would have a 300-400 ms ping to the closest person here in the United States. After the game tries to balance the connections in such a way that everyone sees the same thing at the same time, our members would quickly become annoyed with the artificial lag due to your connection. Besides that, the main discrepancy I have with you is a scheduling conflict. We aren't going to change our schedule for some random person we don't know half way around the world. If you were a deployed military or family member of a long standing member, we may try to work something out to get you included, but you aren't. As you can tell, we are very picky when it comes to who joins our clan. Being as small as we are, we can't have any internal conflicts between our members. Thank you for your interest but between being 16, your location and the scheduling conflicts, we are going to pass at this time.
