I just filled out application '10PM Bedtime'. Here is my submission for your consideration:

Age = 20-25
Gender = Male
When did you start playing Destiny? = Destiny 2
How often do you play Destiny? = 5-6 Days per week
After reading our recruitment post, what activity do you think 10PM Bedtime primarily focuses on? = Raiding & PvE
What attracted you to our particular clan? Where did you hear about us? = I've been looking for a serious raiding clan for a while now. I'm naturally more interested in PvE content, but have struggled to find groups that are even able to take down the Leviathan. As someone who knows the fights and is interested in coordination and cooperation, this has been very frustrating for me.
Have you been in any other Destiny clans? = Yes - Team Superliminal, which is my current clan. While I enjoy their company as individuals and like the fact that we can coordinate on discord, I've found the activity level to be disappointing. That, coupled with the coming switch to PC which will cannibalize much of the player base, mean that I'm ready to move on.
Have you ever been removed from a clan for misconduct? = No.
What do you expect to gain from being in our clan? = A group of devoted, coordinated, and skilled raiding partners. More than that, with time, I hope to make friends and connections with other members.
Which stats do you try to focus on in a PvE setting? = Precision kills and the precision kill ratio are important to me, as well as overall kills. Revives are also a point of pride, especially in a PUG where I might be the last guardian standing quite often.
Please list your raiding history in Destiny. Have you ever raided in another game? = Honestly, it's not extensive. I've cleared the entrance and the baths, but haven't managed the Gauntlet, the Beast Gardens, or Calus himself. Before you click away from my application, though, take into account that I know all the fights and have never been the problem in my groups. As I mentioned earlier, the opportunities to even get 6 together to try the Leviathan have been slim in my current clan. I really believe that with a cast of skilled players around me, I could easily play at the required level. As for other games, I raided consistently in WoW during Wotlk. I learned effective coordination, willingness to follow instruction, and the ability to keep my cool. Look, I know that I'm not nearly as experienced as other applicants will be. But in terms of activity, dedication, and willingness to learn/improve, I'm the best you'll find. If you give me a chance, I promise you won't regret it.
How do you deal with high pressure or stressful situations? = I was a high-level debater in high school and college, and have found myself in plenty of stressful situations, often having to cooperate with others. That has helped me to remain calm and logical, while avoiding the temptation to be passive-aggressive or condescending to those who might be the source of stress.
How do you react to constructive feedback, be it negative or otherwise? = By working to make the necessary changes in my play.
How are you with taking directions from someone in a leadership role? = Very good - I follow directions well in my job, in my debate life, and in the limited raiding experience that I have.
How do you react when you realize you're putting in more effort than the next guy in your fireteam? = If it's in an activity like a nightfall, I try to carry the team and make things work. I might ask them to take more initiative, but I'm not going to blow up on them. In the context of a raid, I've often found that the best solution is just to leave the group and stop wasting my time. That may sound harsh, but if someone can't remember if they're shooting top or bottom in the gauntlet, they probably aren't cut out for finishing the Leviathan.
What irritates you about other people and how do you usually deal with them? = I prefer direct communication, and can be annoyed by passive-aggression. I usually try to engage in a straight-up discussion about what problem they might have and what I can do to help/relieve that issue.
What do you do for a living? Will there be any conflicts with our raiding schedule of Tue/Wed 8-11? = I'm a full time student at the moment, and also work as a tutor. I have no conflicts with your raiding schedule.
