I just filled out application '10 PM Bedtime'. Here is my submission for your consideration:

PSN Username = Eraddicus
Age = 26-30
Gender = Male
When did you start playing Destiny? = Destiny 1
How often do you play Destiny? = 5-6 Days/Week
After reading our recruitment post, what activity do you think 10 PM Bedtime primarily focuses on? = Raiding & PvE
What attracted you to our particular clan? Where did you hear about us? = Hazymage (Ben) is a longtime IRL friend of mine who had great things to say about 10pm. After reading your recruitment posts, I'm very interested in the combination of serious and laid-back atmosphere you claim to offer. I want to tear up end-game content with precision, alongside cool, strategic-minded people I could call friends. But I also want to align with a group that understands the importance of the Destiny / life balance.
Have you been in any other Destiny clans? = I have. In Destiny 1, I played on Xbox One on a clan that was alright, but its shortcoming seemed to come in the organization or lack thereof for some endgame content. People being late to raids, and a commitment to a small guild size hamstringed us when it seemed certain members hit their skill-ceiling.
Have you ever been removed from a clan for misconduct? = Never.
What do you expect to gain from being in our clan? = I'm looking to make some friends who know how to balance being really good at Destiny with being cool people.
Do you try to min-max your character's stats? = I do. Destiny's min/maxing isn't very cumbersome, so I like experimenting with things, especially off-meta, to understand why certain playstyles get the reputations they do.
Please list your raiding history in Destiny. Have you ever raided in another game? = I raided back in vanilla World of Warcraft days, SWTOR, Destiny, to name a few. In terms of Destiny content, I've completed all raid content, across all expansions, but only completed Outbreak Prime once because my guild disbanded after KF, so I had to pug it all. Needless to say my experience pugging wasn't one I wanted to repeat.
How do you deal with high pressure or stressful situations? = After I've thoroughly soiled myself, I manage great. I'm very flexible and clear-headed when things get tough, especially in the face of chaos. In fact, that's part of what makes playing fun - adapting to the insanity.
How do you react to constructive feedback, be it negative or otherwise? = Nobody has it all figured out, and I'm not set in my ways. I appreciate critique and feedback, especially when it comes from someone with a clear understanding, or clearer understanding of a subject than I have. Bonus points for someone who can articulate a set of potential solutions to accompany that critique.
How are you with taking directions from someone in a leadership role? = I have no problem following directions.
How do you react when you realize you're putting in more effort than the next guy in your fireteam? = It depends on the situation. If we're in a Nightfall and he's just not as skilled, I would try to find a role he can fill within the encounter to play to his strengths while trying to fill the void by stepping it up myself. If he's freeloading off of my effort, without putting in any of his own, I'm less inclined to help him in any way going forward and would replace him or find myself a new group. However, if his lack of effort is due to something else, maybe IRL that has kept him from keeping pace with the guild, I'd gladly backpack him through some content so he can catch up and enjoy it with the rest of us.
What irritates you about other people and how do you usually deal with them? = What irritates me is people who think they have it all figured out. As it pertains to Destiny in particular, my worst nightmare was joining groups who insisted that you needed Gjallerhorn and Black Spindle if you wanted to play. I had those things, but I hated the black or white mindset that says "if you don't do this my way, you can't progress and you aren't ready to." To deal with them, I would try to talk to them about why they thought it was necessary, and offer solutions based on similar weapon perks that imitated those weapons. I'd keep it civil and look for solutions that could help them out of that mindset, or at least try to understand why they thought that to see if there was merit to it. The other thing that irritates me is people who can't give a little grace. People make mistakes. It happens, but I'm interested in helping move passed those mistakes in a way that's mutually beneficial.
What do you do for a living? Will there be any conflicts with our raiding schedule of Tue/Wed 8-11? = I work in advertising on the west coast (PST). That usually means I'm unavailable for the usual M-F 9-5, but sometimes I'll be stuck late, or available earlier. My ending hours in the day fluctuate based on the work load at my agency. As for raiding schedule, that would mean I'm not home until 6 PST / 8 CST / 9 EST, which leads me to a question for you - will this be the only consistent raid time once Destiny 2 launches? I assume there's ample opportunity to raid with guildies outside of formally scheduled time, but still curious to know if / how the guild has dealt with this or plans to. Thanks again for considering me.
