I just filled out application '10 PM Bedtime'. Here is my submission for your consideration:

PSN Username = BaronVonJeff
Age = 31-35
Gender = Male
When did you start playing Destiny? = September 2014
How often do you play Destiny? = 5-6 Days/Week
How many characters do you have over 310 Light Level? = 3
After reading our recruitment post, what activity do you think 10 PM Bedtime primarily focuses on? = Raiding & PvE
Which class is your favorite in a raid setting and why? = While I love all 3 classes in the raid; my favorite class in Raids is my main class, a Warlock. I'm most comfortable with its jumps and the various builds. It's grenades are varied and useful in all situations. Stormcaller is clutch when being overwhelmed by ads. But most of all, I love being the Sunsinger who can self-res and get everyone up for a reset. Warlocks are the "oh sh*t button" of Destiny.
Is there anything about the class(s) you play that you don't enjoy? = Not really. All classes have their pros and cons. The only thing I don't enjoy is the short adjustment period after switching from one class to another.
What do you consider your strengths and weaknesses while playing your class(s)? = My weaknesses in all classes center around trying to do too much when the situation turns dire. This usually manifests to me trying to res the fireteam when I would probably be better suited doing something else. I also have a bad habit of staying hard-scoped for longer than I should. My greatest strength is consistency. I know the raids and the strikes and I play the game as it allows me to (most times). I don't take risks and I don't go rogue. As far as classes go. I don't have great aim with my fist if havoc. And because I main a Warlock, I'm used to holding my super. So I have have to remind myself to use it sometimes.
What attracted you to our particular clan? Where did you hear about us? = I saw the post on Reddit while searching for a clan to apply to. I've hoped to find a clan of dedicated and high level Guardians that utilize tools like a website and messaging apps. I believe I've found it here.
Have you been in any other Destiny clans? = I started a clan with my friends when Destiny was released. We tried recruiting but to little avail. There are very few players still active.
Have you ever been removed from a clan for misconduct? = No
What do you expect to gain from being in our clan? = I expect and hope to be a part of a group who set and accomplish goals together, to meet new people and make new friends, to help myself get better at the game while also helping others, and to never use PUG raid teams again.
Do you utilize any outside resources related to Destiny? = Yes. I listen to Guardian Radio, Planet Destiny, and Crucible Radio podcasts weekly. I visit R/destinythegame and r/crucibleplaybook daily. I utilize the resources on I also check in on Destiny Tracker from time to time.
Are you missing any key exotic weapons or armor pieces that are useful in the current raid? = No I believe I have everything I need.
Do you min-max your character's stats? Which stats and gear perks do you focus on? = I build my characters based on my style and the task at hand. I typically boost discipline and intellect, except for when I'm a Hunter with smoke bombs. My gear perks typically boost reload speeds and a no capacity. The above is subject to change based on light level of my gear at the time. I will sacrifice some perks for better light level as long as it doesn't hinder me.
Have you raided in any other games? Please list your raiding history in Destiny. = Destiny is my first raiding experience. I was slow going at first. I didn't run VoG often during vanilla days. But by the time of Crotas End and HoW, I was running HM 3x per week.
How do you deal with high pressure or stressful situations? = When possible I step back and refocus and remember to take things one step at a time. At work we say that it's always best to focus on the solution, not the problem. I try to take that mantra into everything I do.
How do you react to constructive feedback, be it negative or otherwise? = I am not perfect nor do I know everything I count on constructive feedback to grow and move forward. I am open to others thoughts and opinions and value them.
How are you with taking directions from someone in a leadership role? = I happily greet the opportunity to take directions from others when working toward a common goal. I recognize that everyone must play and their role, and it is up to the leader to assign and monitor those roles.
How do you react when you realize you're putting in more effort than the next guy in your fireteam? = Things like that don't bother me. How am I to say how much effort another is outing in. I would focus on myself and see what else I can do to help the group accomplish the goal.
What irritates you about other people and how do you usually deal with them? = I am a very laid back person in general. However being interrupted by others really annoys me. Also I get annoyed when people in the game get act and speak to others in a condescending manner. I ignore them as much as possible and try and remind myself that our time playing together will be short lived, and that said person is likely acting that way to hide/overcompensate for something.
What do you do for a living? Will there be any conflicts with our raiding schedule of Tue/Wed 7-11? = I am Clinical Supervisor for the addiction and other treatment programs at the State Prison here in Pittsburgh. I work 730 am to 330 pm. There won't be any conflicts with the raising schedule. My wife even volunteered to work nights on Tuesdays so I can have the night to myself.
